  • Allows for better function and chewing

Through full mouth restoration, you can get back to great oral health after just a few visits to our San Antonio Dental office!

Before The Procedure

Teeth

Inspected to see if there is any tooth decay, wear or damage, or any aesthetic repairs needed.

Gums

Gum health is very important to the health of teeth and mouth. Gums will be checked for gum disease.

Jaws

A bad bite may cause pain or impact teeth alignment.

During The Procedure

This can also be referred to as a rapid full mouth restoration. It allows the individual to restore all teeth during one or two visits to give the mouth a uniform look. The procedure will vary depending on what is needed.

Crowns

First, the dentist will make an impression of the mouth, then the mold will be sent off to have the crowns or caps made. Temporary crowns, caps, or dentures may be required for up to six weeks. Then at the second appointment, porcelain crowns replace the temporary ones.

Implants

If the patient needs implants, they will be placed once the tooth extraction occurs, and the mouth has healed and is ready for the implant. The titanium dental implants are placed into the jawbone. The implant allows the new tooth to be placed permanently into the jawbone.

Jaw

If there are jaw problems, the dentist may recommend an orthotic appliance to adjust the patient’s bite for a few weeks or months. It helps restore the natural bite along with the dental restorations.
