I was born in Wichita, Kansas, but I’ve called San Antonio home since 1977. I am married to my high school sweetheart Michele and we’re parents to six great kids. My calendar stays packed with my kids’ activities, from soccer to guitar to being at our family ranch. With the little time I do have for myself, I enjoy fly fishing and snow skiing.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas (the TRUE birthplace of college basketball!). I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I have completed extensive education in restorative dentistry (crowns, bridges, dentures, and fillings) at The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida.
I have also completed advanced studies in dental implants, CEREC crowns (one day crowns), Invisalign, and traditional orthodontics. I have provided dental care and mouth guards for many high school, college, and professional athletes. I’ve worked with UTSA, Trinity University, and many other college athletes during NCAA tournaments. I have also served as the team dentist the San Antonio Rampage Hockey Team and for the New Orleans Saints during their stay in San Antonio. I have taught in the Department of General Dentistry and in the Departments of Physical and Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society where I have served on the board of directors. In our practice I am dedicated to providing our patients high-tech dental care, with a gentle touch.
